Northern Lights was first was introduced to the public sometime between 1985 and 1986 and is believed to be a cross between Afghani & Thai landrace strains. Northern Lights is one of the most famous strains popular for being being name dropped in movies and for creating other popular strains like super silver haze. Northern Lights is a heavy indica that will put you in the couch and has excellent medicinal properties that can be used to treat pain, stress, insomnia, depression and more. Reports across the internet have Northern Lights  testing out between 18% THC and 25% THC.

Northern Lights usually has dark green leaves and light green bud and will be covered in brown or orange hairs.  The buds are usually medium in size but Northern Lights is not considered to be huge producer weight wise.
