Do I need an intake fan?

Hi everyone! I’ve got a question about intake fans. I’m still somewhat new to growing so sorry if this is a dumb question 😂 Currently I have a 2x4 tent with a 4” carbon filter and exhaust and a 220W brilliant grow company LED , as well as a 4x4 tent with a 6” carbon filter and exhaust and a 600W Brilliant Grow Company LED. My question is... do I NEED to have intake fans set up to each one? Or are the vent holes in the bottom of the tents good enough? Thanks in advance to anyone who can help me with this! I’ve been trying to figure this out for some time now!

PS... the green lights added was for fun 😂 I don’t think they are greenhouse qualified.. they’re just Phillips Hue smart lights. Idk though, maybe they would work 🤷‍♂️

If you able to open the vents in the bottom that will work for the most part. If you find your temps rising you might need to grab a 6 inch fan and split it with a y down to two 4 inch pipes and run one into each tent. I use air intakes in all my tents as it is easier to control the temps and humidity with both.

also that green light should be fine it is a green spectrum so should not effect plants.

Right on, thanks for the reply! I seemed to be fine on my first grow but I was also using cheap amazon blurples. I’ve now upgraded to a 220w QB for the 2x4 and a 600w QB for the 4x4. If I run into any temp/humidity issues, I know what my next purchase is going to be! I like your idea about attaching a wye rather than getting 2 fans 👌

anything to help save a extra buck. The y works amazingly well didn't know if it would or not.
